Week In Review 6.11.17-6.17.17
Another week gone, and another week closer to finishing my stories. I’m about a hundred and fifty pages away from finishing my current read Sword of the Rightful King. I haven’t quite decided what I want to read next, but I have an extensive to-be-read pile so I have plenty of options.
I also added more to A Crack in the Mirror this week. I added 225 words and I also had a good brainstorming session this week about the next chapter as well as some worldbuilding elements that have been bothering me. Not as much visible progress as last week, but it’s progress and useful progress at that.
As far as blog writing goes, I got out my review of Confessor this week along with a writing quote about ideas coming easily but writing them down being difficult. I’d had a few more posts planned but I didn’t get the opportunity to write them yet. I should have better luck/more time this coming week as Macbeth closes tonight.
Among next weeks planned posts is a book review of Dark Matter by Blake Crouch, and a post comparing playwrighting and novel writing that I’ve been sitting on for a while. I also plan to get a lot more of A Crack in the Mirror written and finish my current book in the coming week.
For now, have a fantastic weekend! I hope you can get a few of your to-do items done and hopefully the weather where you are is nicer than mine (I’m stuck with rain and humidity). Keep an eye out tomorrow for a new Writing Sates update too!
