July Bullet Journal & An Update
I can’t believe we’re two weeks into July already! This year is just flying by and this month snuck up on me. I’d been on vacation until the fifth and then I went back to an insane two and a half days of work. The theatre plays host to a summer theatre academy, starting this week, for the next month. Last week, I had a long list of things to get done before the theatre was invaded. Then over the weekend, the boyfriend and I disappeared for a wedding out at his cousin’s place near Altoona, PA. We stayed with his grandfather, which was fun, but sadly there was no wi-fi, so I went dark on the radar. I’d even had a post all ready for Saturday but no way to type it up or send it out.
Things have been busy but fun so far this month. The wedding was great and it was nice to get out of town for a few days. I was also able to get a nice photo with the boyfriend–the first one of our year and a half long relationship since we both prefer to be on the other side of the camera. Then of course there were the silly pictures as well because there was a photobooth at the reception. We ate, danced, and drank in celebration all night long (well until the venue kick us out that is).
But, the weekend is over now and I’m back to catching up with blogging, writing, and work (I did pretty well on the reading front even with all the craziness). Amongst my list of items to catch up on is an update for the bullet journal for this month. I’ve kept pretty well everything the same from last month with a few subtle adjustment. First adjustment: the day/dates now sit on the line instead of through the line. I’d had trouble reading each date at a glance last month and I’m enjoying the change this time around. The second adjustment is writing month.date instead of day.month in my word count tracker. This was purely for aestics–I’d wanted to play with the format last month and ended up not liking it.
Otherwise things are the same as they had been. I like my habit tracker and spending tracker layouts so I didn’t make any changes there. Next year I’ll be using a bigger notebook so I’ll play with those more then, but I’m happy with what I have been using for now.
That’s it for this update, onto the rest of the week’s blog posts and some reading. Also aiming to get some novel work done this week.
Until next time,
